Music Teacher
1. Job Description
We are looking for a well-organized, qualified, and committed candidate to join our excellent faculty as a Music Teacher.
2. Broad Responsibilities
Basic proficiency in teaching music – songs, rhymes, actions songs to students of the Foundational Years.
Improve skills and knowledge in teaching by regularly taking classes, attending workshops, and discovering new methods of delivering exciting content to students.
Taking responsibility for the progress of class.
Organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment.
Motivating students with enthusiastic, imaginative class activities.
Meeting requirements for the assessment. Records, evaluates and reports student’s development.
Providing feedback to parents on a student's progress.
Working collaboratively with others to plan and coordinate work.
Organizing and taking part for school events, outings and activities.
Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when required.
Graduation in chosen subject and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
A passion for learning and sharing your knowledge with others.
Excellent communicator and should possess good interpersonal skills.
Creative and able to create a fun learning environment.
Good classroom management.
Upstanding ethics and integrity.
Proven experience as a music teacher with minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience. Fresher’s with good musical knowledge are also encouraged to apply
